Family Testimonials
“The true definition of care is a family environment where my mother is
loved, respected and honoured in the same way that she is when she is
with me. The staff at Millrise Place excel in providing this type of
care”

secure, warm, comfortable and respected. I am responsible for my mom and

“I truly admire how each of you interact with the elderly and those with
such issues as dementia. It can be difficult at times, as we both know,
but you and your colleagues truly impress me by how often you each go
above and beyond. It doesn’t go unnoticed and it is greatly appreciated”

“I would recommend Millrise Place Assisted Living Residence located in Calgary to anyone wishing to maintain their independence as long as possible, but would like some assistance with meals, housekeeping, and medical related services. Millrise Place is a friendly community that fosters many social interactions and healthy activities for mind and body.”
Norma Livingston
“I am pleased that I was able to rent a unit for my mother at Millrise Place Assisted Living in Calgary. When I was searching for a place for my mother to live her twilight years, my criteria included:
- Cleanliness and a comparatively new residence
- Knowledgeable staff and presence of PCAs, and nurses if needed
- Access to ‘outdoor’ living
- Proximity to me, the primary caregiver
- Social activities
Millrise has met all of these criteria. In particular, I am most happy with the friendliness of all the staff as well as the ‘at home’ feeling at Millrise Assisted Living. Millrise Assisted Living does not have the ‘nursing home institution’ atmosphere. My mother recently celebrated her 90th birthday, and I am (as she is) comforted with the knowledge that my mother is safe and cared for in a safe and happy home environment.”
